
David Hynds – Musician, Teacher, Performer.
David is a musician and teacher working in the South West of the UK. He started learning trumpet at the age of 11, and quickly progressed to many other instruments. He graduated from the University of Surrey with a BMus(Hons) in Music in 2006, and has been working in education ever since.
In addition to his teaching career he has performed regularly with various ensembles including: The Terry Hill Big Band, Frome Symphony, The Refusal, Clyve and the Soul City Foundation, and many many others.
David is a Musical Director with local amateur musical theatre groups, in charge of the music for the annual pantomimes, as well as the occasional Musical Production. David is also the MD of a saxophone choir; Saxophonics, based in Chippenham.
He has also written many songs for musicals, including the most recent The Haunting of Richard III, as well as new musical versions of Hansel & Gretel and The Little Mermaid.
